AI‑Generated Derivatives Royalty Table
(in addition to Licensing Fees)
This schedule defines the royalty percentages owed for any AI‑generated outputs derived from Menstrala artworks, whether through training, seeding, dataset inclusion, or derivative generation.
5% of revenue
Applies to AI‑generated works used in personal projects, academic research, or non‑commercial creative outputs that still generate revenue (e.g., grants, stipends, honoraria).
10% of gross revenue
For AI‑generated artworks, images, or designs sold, licensed, or used in commercial contexts (products, branding, advertising, merchandise).
15% of gross revenue
For large‑scale commercial exploitation: product lines, mass‑market campaigns, corporate branding, or recurring commercial outputs.
15% of revenue from outputs trained on the dataset
Applies when Menstrala images are included in a dataset used to generate multiple derivative works.
20% of gross revenue
For exclusive rights to generate AI derivatives from a specific Menstrala artwork or series.
15% of sublicensing revenue
Applies when a licensee sublicenses AI‑generated outputs to third parties.
Royalty Notes
Royalties apply in addition to the upfront AI‑Derivative Licensing Fee.
Royalties are calculated on gross revenue, not net, to prevent under‑reporting.
Quarterly reporting is standard for commercial licensees.
Unauthorized AI use triggers penalty fees and may result in legal action.
AI Royalty Enforcement
Menstrala © 2000–2026 Vanessa Tiegs
Any AI‑generated derivative created from Menstrala artworks—whether through training, seeding, dataset inclusion, or model‑based transformation—is subject to mandatory royalty payments as defined in the Menstrala Licensing Fee Schedule. Licensees must provide quarterly revenue reports, maintain transparent accounting records, and remit royalties within 30 days of each reporting period. Failure to report, under‑reporting, non‑payment, or unauthorized AI use constitutes a breach of license and triggers penalty fees, retroactive royalty assessments, and potential legal action. Unauthorized AI‑generated derivatives are expressly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of licensing rights.
